Viagra 50mg tablet contains an active component such as Sildenafil. This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, which belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps men achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra may have side effects, including headache, flushing, dizziness, upset stomach, nasal congestion, and vision changes. It should not be taken with certain medications or conditions, so it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional before using it. Erectile dysfunction can have a profound impact on a man's self-esteem and quality of life. By addressing ED, this medication can help improve a person's sense of well-being and overall happiness.
Individuals with a history of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart problems (angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats) or recent heart attack, should exercise caution when using Viagra. The sexual activity itself can strain the heart and can further increase the strain by increasing blood flow. Consult with a healthcare professional to assess the risks and benefits in such cases. This medication can cause a mild decrease in blood pressure. Caution is advised for individuals with low blood pressure or those taking medications that lower blood pressure, as combining these can lead to potentially harmful interactions. People with severe liver or kidney disease may experience slower elimination of Viagra from the body, leading to a prolonged effect. Dosage adjustments may be necessary in such cases.

A pharmaceutical firm has been found guilty of importing and selling hundreds of prescription medicines and erectile dysfunction drugs, including a heart medication, in the UK.
In a joint prosecution, the court heard that the firm, Sun Pharma, Ltd, pleaded guilty to distributing over 100,000 tablets of Viagra, which contains sildenafil citrate.
The drugs were sold in the UK in quantities exceeding the maximum five tablets permitted by law.
Prosecutors said that Sun Pharma had purchased the drugs at a discount of around 10,000 a month, from licensed wholesalers, and the firm had received information from the Medicines Act 2007 on the sale of the drugs.
The court heard that Sun Pharma had been supplied with a list of 50,000 tablets of the drugs in the UK, but the medicines were not authorised to be sold in the UK.
It said the firm had not made any communication with the MHRA in the UK about the drugs, but had sent a letter to the MHRA requesting they be sold.
The court heard that the firm had made no effort to contact MHRA and had not given any reasons or warnings to the regulator.
The drugs were labelled as “Viagra” and were sold under the trade names ‘Sildenafil Citrate’, ‘Vardenafil’ and ‘Levitra’.
The defendant had allegedly sold the drugs under the trade names ‘Viagra’, ‘Cialis’ and ‘Levitra’.
The judge heard that the drugs were not authorised to be sold in the UK, but were available from pharmacies in the UK and in the USA.
The court also heard that the company had not supplied the drugs to customers.
Judge Rebecca Koh said that the court had heard that the company had made no attempt to contact the MHRA about the drugs.
The court heard that Sun Pharma had supplied the drugs to a customer at a UK pharmacy for a specific amount of time and in a specific order, and was then offered a supply by the MHRA.
The court heard that the drug had been on the UK Medicines Regulations for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), which was approved in 2007 and meant that the product was approved for sale only if it met a patient’s needs.
The case was prosecuted by the High Court.
The judge said the court had to “make a decision that would be on the advice of the MHRA”.
She said that the MHRA had sent an email to the MHRA about the drugs, and the company had sent the email in plain language.
The court had heard that the firm had been supplying the drugs to customers from the USA.
